Dec-Present AE has been short on CA, company and ALPA have stated running 100-150 captains short.
Feb 2013 AA announces the RAH flying
Mar 2013 AE to start sending guys to AA
*We've had multiple disp/vac bids this year and they have net a loss of about 80-90 CA spots, it's being rummored we should see at least these many upgrades soon... rumored being the key word!
We have a huge dark cloud over hear, mainly as the company is trying to force guys to flow. It seems like is working as more than 50% of the guys so far have accepted recall. They will continue to make our lives miserables to send as many guys over as possible, we shall see what happens after the numbered guys go. If half the numbered guys go, that should happen by summer time this will offset over half the aircraft being parked in 2013 combined with any other attrition outside of AMR and the 824 and you see why they are hiring but everything can change at any time and Eaglefly will tell you all about it.
