Our mediator announced today, no more meetings until summer. The company would not back down on their "Last best final offer." For all you prospective new hires, that's another 4-5 months with a substandard contract. They might tell you in an interview that a new CBA is right around the corner. It is not.

I should have been clear, but please do your homework before applying to either airline. Republic has been in contract negotiations since 2007. We are currently in mediation with a NMB rep. Eagle just signed a concessionary contract that is still better than ours (RAH).

When I do the math, 12 million is completely unreasonable. Also, the IBT is still negotiating, while the company is standing firm by their final offer. Does that make it clear who is being unreasonable?

Take 12 million and divide it by our pilot group (2100). Take that number and add it to your year end pay. Keep in mind that includes pay rates, work rules, signing bonus, etc.

The company's raises were pretty much only geared towards FO's with the majority going to 1st and 2nd year to get butts in the seats. Not to those who have slaved away for the last couple years at $36.62. They wanted CA's on the 175/190 to take a pay cut. No CX pay. No work rules. More vague wording to allow them to do whatever they want whenever they want.
I wouldn't even use the company's last offer as toilet paper.

there is no fleet plan for L-eagle, everyone else has been told by aa there fleet plan. Even SKW is looking at the E175 to purchase because its the preferred aircraft of AA, so they can get another feed contract at AA.
Republic has a possible 100 aircraft deal with AA, (53 firm and 47 options).
