Thanks. When you were offered class dates. Do you know how far out they are schedule? I want to take the first available class, But I have a commitment on April 7th in Houston. Which would be ok because it's a Sunday. Did they offer you any April classes?

They asked when I would be able to start and what cert/ airframe I wanted. I had about three weeks lead time for the March 4th class, which was plenty, so I didn't ask about any other classes. They were very easy to work with and had no problem accomodating my certificate and date requests, so I get the feeling that you would be ok.

Thanks, I originally told them nothing before April but I could be make some changes for an earlier date. I know that they are running classes every 2 weeks so it might work out well for me. I haven't been offered yet. Hopefully Friday.

They seemed to be more than willing to work with us. When did you interview? I went in on a Friday and had to wait until Monday afternoon to get the news. Looooong weekend.

Is this your first 121 gig? I have a close friend I recommended in that class with you.

After 15 years of flying, I finally decided to make the jump into 121, so yep, this is my first time. We'll see how it goes! I guess I'll meet your buddy in a little more than a week.

Yup, Monday through friday. Halfway through, the schedule becomes something like 7-3 or 10 - 6. Sims, like you said are all the place - 2 days off and are 4 hour blocks. They can be at the Academy or Flight Safety in DFW, Flight Safety Houston or Flight Safety St. Louis. I had St Louis Midnight to 4AM slot. Wasn't terrible because we were the only eagle crew there, and most days we could start early. In fact one day the sim was downright broken. The other -145 sim was not being used and the sim techs moved the FMSs over to that one and off we went.
