regarding eagle, the union leadership here at eagle has made sure every nail on eagles coffin are in place and securely hammered in. Go to republic, the only pilots here supporting new hires to come to eagle are the ones that are junior and want someone below them for some security.
facts;
RAH 53 aircraft for aa feed.
AE parking 23 E135's, 4 E140's and 39 ATR's all by end of 2013.
RAH has 47 options for E175's for AA feed in addition to the 53 E175's.
AE will be parking the remainder E140's in 2014.
SKW in LAX about 19 aircraft for AA feed.
AE LAX crew displaced and aircraft sent to other bases. LAX aircraft were E140's, they will be gone in 2014.
EJT 13 aircraft feed in DFW for AA.
Another Feed contract for 30-35 for E175's coming. Rumor it will be Compass and in NY.
So yes come to AE then you can go to Republic when furloughed.
Everyone else in the AMR (AA/AE BK) have been told there fleet plan requirements for AA. AA, RAH, SKW and EJT know, the only fleet plan kept secret is Eagles. You can surmise for yourself where to go with these facts.

Why not give facts that rebut what I have said and please not what the union has said, they lie enough.

Because EVERY regional airline is going to struggle for pilots! We are REQUIRED by AA to provide a certain amount of flying. Hence, no one will be in an advantaged position. If we are unable to provide, there are conequenses. These consequences apply to everyone. Stop making this the "End of Days" and start to see the opportunity.

Ok. Your "facts" are wrong.

Actually it's 21 135's, 3 140's, and 9 ATR's being parked in 2013. The 3 140's leaving I believe are not even ours if I remember correctly, they are Chataqua ORD planes.
RAH has 47 options for E175's for AA feed in addition to the 53 E175's.

This is not a fact. There is no public information or announcements about parking 140's. To the contrary, AMR just restructured the deals on all (59) 140's in October, and got a 49% reduction on the principle and interest on those aircraft. maybe they will get rid of them eventually, but there has been no announcements.
SKW in LAX about 19 aircraft for AA feed.
Actually it's only 12
AE LAX crew displaced and aircraft sent to other bases.
LAX aircraft were E140's, they will be gone in 2014.
Say's who? You? Unless you have some super secret NDA information that nobody else has, this is just speculation.
EJT 13 aircraft feed in DFW for AA.

Rumors are not facts..

RyanP well how many aircraft will be parked by end of 2013 including all atr's from last year and you can leave out the e140's i said for 2014.
http://www.aa.com/i18n/amrcorp/corpo...acts/fleet.jsp
according to this by end of this year there will be a 20% reduction in fleet size from the begining of last year. you do the math. also TWO base closure as we speak.

Current staffing and hiring is running without those aircraft that have been removed in the past. The future ones (30) being parked from us are the only ones that may affect new hires. I'm not saying its good.. just that I don't think it's as bad as you made it out to be for a new hire.
Attrition is still running 20-25 a month every month. Flows are starting next month again. Likely another 20/mo gone from flow for the remainder of the year unless something changes. Plus any future hiring attrition, puts us at 40-45/month attrition minimum.. so there is still upward movement. (I know it sucks, not as good as it could be if we weren't losing planes.. but it's still positive upwards movement for new hires)

Another thing to consider is now 95% of our 3004 pilots (appx 2,853) are "furlough protected" due to this merger with our new contract.. It was only 1,968 were protected just yesterday (pre-merger) so it's a big change. I don't know what the effective merger dates and all that crap are exactly (for exact snapshot numbers) ..I don't know if it's based off today or some approval date in the future.
Who knows if this protection is actually worth anything in the real world and if will hold up in court.. but it IS in our contract now so it's better than not having it I guess. They may not be able to just do some mass parking of our aircraft in the future anymore, other than what they can do with attrition losses. Something to think about anyway..
