American is retarded. This industry is sucks. Let the whipsaw begin. Every regional will be flying a few AMERICAN EAGLE painted planes. While eagle does an awesome job for American and the money goes right back to American we get hosed.

Their figure is based on guys voluntarily leaving (mostly from the bottom) like I did. There will be plenty of FO's leaving to go somewhere with a future.

I know two people that have interviewed at rjet that were turned down in recent weeks...they are not hurting for new hires.

Do I WISH they were? You're damned right I do.
If you are not hurting for new hires then why give them a 5k bonus and get rid of training contract? In other words, why make hiring more attractive?

We all know if that merger happens, which it will, regionals will have to be combined.
You sound like senior comair air pilots when we were getting out of bankruptcy. Republic does not need us to come over with aircraft. These 175 are coming over a 3 years span. They will be able to pick and choose pilots from Pinnacle maybe even Eagle. There are still enough pilots out there. As far as merge all the regionals hahahahaha look at Delta. Im sure rp management is like hey we'll take eagle pilots at doh To cover flying. Make this process easy on yourself and look at reality, don't believe all rumors. And don't make ones up so that you sound like you know whats happening.

look for some kind of asset swap between AMR and RAH. RAH gets whats left of Eagle and AMR gets Frontier and all of its Airbuses.

Well the assets he talks about are the pilots. American Eagle Airlines does not own any aircraft, we sublease from AMR corp
