No celebration here my friend. It's another blow for all of our career progressions, and yet one more blow to our negotiating power.

There is 10% of this pilot group that just had a wet dream and there is 50% that just don't care. Finally there are 40% that are going to offering AA a real ****** product.

RAH is acquiring the airplanes, AMR is trying to spread the eggs so they are not on one basket. We know how the contracts work and if RAH is unable to perform not only are they out of the contract, they will be stuck with the airplanes and no pilots to fly them. From what we can see AMR was smart in the way the did this.

I wonder if there is an impact on RAH's contract with US Airways. At some point someone is going to figure out that some airlines are making money by competing with their partners and in the case of RAH it's pretty much everyone... Delta, AA, United, US Airways. Did I miss any?

I hope the pilots at Republic realize they have some real leverage in their negotiations. Good luck in your contract negotiation.

Nah man, you got it all wrong. If they're unable to perform, it only means they'll be awarded more flying. Don't you know that quality from regional partners is frowned upon by mainline management?

wow, just, wow. I never would have thought that AMR would "trust" another company to fly their flag / carry the brand.

wow. unbelievable. or maybe in today's airline climate, believable.

Speaking of the new program at ATP with RAH. Did anyone see how much ATPs prices went up?

$65k zero-hero

$59k Pvt-hero

Now thats a huge increase in price and a real rip off for 100hrs multi time!!

That's interesting because one would think that the several announcements pre/post BK that they were going to do this and the fact that they gave SKW flying a few months back would make this announcement not only unsurprising but expected.

If your issue is specifically with Republic, I certainly understand.
