Default RAH/AE won't last if this keeps up...

BB is way in over his head with pursuing AE if this is what AA can expect. Love it.

How did they do that exactly? Was there a gun involved? Last time I checked these were voted by the pilot group. Then, you ended up losing the flying anyway..

I don't have respect for people voting on concessions and then crying foul for flying being taken away..

seattlepilot, please dont confuse some of us with the morons over here, but, what we have here is A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE. When the no voters were telling the MEC and there lackeys they are wrong to negotiated a concessionary contract on the basis of nothing. When the NO voters were telling the Yessers that there is nothing in the contract guaranteeing anything except furloughs down the line, they new better because the mec was on there side.

Well enjoy the furlough coming in the late fall and your new job at RAH and EJT.

I voted NO and was a strong advocate at Eagle against the TA. The pilot group was lied too by our union reps, too many of them went along with it.. and the bankruptcy is about the same thing as a gun anyway. There is no WIN for employee's in bankruptcy when the laws are against us. So I really don't care what you think.

So over 5,000 flights canceled this weekend because of the blizzard. How many RAH pilots are not getting paid right now through no fault of thier own? Something for the new guys to think about before they go signing a 24 month ball and chain.

I feel sorry for the weekend crews that got flights cancelled. I've talked to a few of my friends who benefited from this. They were on 4 days and got reassigned with a deadhead and/or ferry. The guys I talked to will end up only working 8 hours or less out of 20 and they still get paid for the 20 hrs since they were reassigned, they are protected. After a few years, I'm lucky to have never lost money yet from a cancelled flight (knock on wood)!

ALPA, Egl Vp and AA Vp stated a yes vote would enable them to bid the forthcoming RFP's. Furthermore, time was of the essence - then they made some lame excuse for NOT bidding - that is the bad faith bargaining that is claimed here.

Just a guess, legacy Eagle. Since American Eagle will no longer be a company but a brand ala delta connection. It is used to identify those currently working at AE before multiple carrier fly under the Eagle banner.

"THE" American Eagle Airlines.. (The OHIO State University).. like Legacy Eagle, I guess.. since everyone is stealing our name now and painting it on their airplanes.

I prefer OG-Eagle myself. L Eagle sounds stupid.
