Just curious.

Do you get travel privileges only on the mainline carrier that your particular certificate flies for or can you get travel privileges on other mainline carriers that the other certificates fly for?

Thanks.

Only on the mainline associated with your certificate.

S5 - Delta and United
YX - US Airways, though Q400 gets United
RP - Delta, United, US Airways, and American

Everyone gets Frontier travel.

If I remember correctly for RP only certain bases get every carrier.

ZED fares are through the agreements Frontier has so it is very limited compared to my previous regional where we had ZED access through the Delta agreements.

United travel is also per segment agreement that is $20 a leg domestic in coach and $50 + taxes a leg international in coach. It costs even more for business/first class. Parents travel at your same priority on your hire date (SA5X) and pay the same as you. United gives you a second enrolled friend. So you can have 2 friends, or a spouse/domestic partner + 1 friend. No buddy passes anymore.

Delta you pay $50 a year, all your passriders get unlimited domestic in coach and first no extra cost. Overseas you only pay taxes and you get 6 travel days a year after which you pay $150 a leg in addition to taxes. Parents always travel as S4 priority on first check in basis, not your hire date (so they are below even mainline buddy passes), and they pay a yield fare based on distance. It's worth it overseas if they get business, otherwise United is cheaper/higher priority for parents. Delta does not allow friends, only Spouse/Domestic Partner. No buddy passes either.

Having been involuntarily did aced twice, I am now looking displacement number three with the reduction if 190's here in Den. There is absolutely ZERO stability, in this company. I am doing everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I can to get to a better carrier. Take it for what it's worth.

You mean that even flying the ERJ190 doesn't compensate for the negativity?

Is it tough being an APC troll?

No trolling here pal. I've talked to numerous regional pilots who get all starry eyed with prospects of larger RJs like the 190 at the regionals.

He's mostly correct.

For the YX (Republic) certificate, the bennies depend on your aircraft and base. Only bases that fly US Airways flying get US Airways bennies. For example, the DEN 190 pilots only get F9 bennies. Not United and not US Airways.

At Chautauqua it's a bit more complicated. It depends on what codeshares each base flies. So depending where you are based, you have different flight benefits.

CLE: DL, F9, UA
CMH and LGA: DL, F9, UA, US
IND and SDF: AA, DL, F9, UA, US
ORD: AA, F9

This is displacement 17 since around my time of hire. Just had a turn and overnight shifted to the fail-bus, so there goes 5 hours pay and per diem. I'm glad I've put up with this **** for 6 years. Coming here is a great decision, I recommend it to all.

Don't worry, your upgrade will be 6 months, you'll hold a line immediately and CBA is right around the corner. Plus the signing bonus is huge. Come on over!

I know this sounds alittle stupid probably. But if I have a interview on DEC 11 and they took my information about picking up a flight to their headquarters, where do I actually go to get the flight out of PHL.
