Masterofpuppets I did an interview there recently and they said they where close to signing a new contract. The guy leading the power point said that they were waiting to hatch out the new captain pay scale so they could sign a new TA. Apparently FO pay has already been agreed upon and union won't allow it till captains get a raise. Any info into that realm of fun?
I honestly believe the company is waiting until a big hiring boom from the majors. Then our bitter old pilots will leave and they can lowball a contract on the newer guys.

Thanks for the info guys!!.... Well I was offered a job there on the shuttle side of things and the only reason I'm thinking of coming to the company because they plan on hiring 740 this year and I'd be at the front of that hiring spree. I'm just tired of being on reserve. I've been with 4 companies in the last 2 years (not because I wanted to). I just want to go somewhere that's not going bankrupt, actually hiring pilots and not having its fleet grounded and possible upgrade sometime this decade lol. Going grey here.

Well if there would be just a few hundred below me I'd be happy at this point. With pinnacle collapsing (my last place) there will most likely be a influx of FOs onto the market. Who knows I'm just here for the ride and trying to play the positive card.

If the Pinnacle TA passes only 150 furloughs are planned in 2013. I think the regionals are already seeing a shortage. When the attrition at the majors kick in they'll be hosed.

My buddy who started class this month at RAH said they got 5 classes a month going with about 10 to 15 FOs in each of those 1 shuttle 2 republic and 2 Chautauqua. The other half of the class is captain upgrades. Not sure how that will keep up through the months but seems to be pretty full classes at moment. Hope it keeps up for all of our seniority sake.

APC Republic profile
The APC profile shows this:
Republic confirmed its order with Airbus to purchase 60 A320neo (New Engine Option) and 20 A319neo aircraft
What do people on the property hear about the reality of these aircraft acquisitions?
Thanks...great info in this post btw
