Jesus? Really? Your company takes the Colgan Qs, effectively terminating that airline. Your CEO is wise enough to find contract work in this tough economy, meaning more growth and jobs for your airline. But the "inconvenience" of one small base gets a "Jesus" outta you? Save it for when a company goes chp 11 and people start losing their jobs.
A small base, for sure. I'm not excited about our pilots having to commute to a base without regular airline service. Our company likes to open and close bases on a whim, but opening one which is essentially uncommuteable? Yeah, "Jesus" was my first reaction.

What happened to Pinnacle sucks. I won't argue that. But our pilot group wasn't begging for the Q flying.

I'm sorry if my gut reaction offends you.

22 pilots for 5 planes seems incredibly light even for RAH. I know they run lean but that is ridiculous.

CMH will also be part of the charter bases.

Likely that there will be subsequent vacancy bids. This is just the first bid.

Sorry to hear about the movement of the 190's. This will inevitably result in the displacement of several current 190 pilots. We have experienced a small amount of the RAH musical chair philosophy on pilot domiciles, but nothing like what you guys have endured. The good news is that the airframes are not leaving the property at this point and the "risk" of operating the remaining fleet is now shared between RAH and Ceasars.

Yep it really is good news that they're not leaving. Wouldn't want to lose the opportunity to fly a large mainline aircraft for substandard RJ rates.

It might be worth noting, in addition to the five E190s that will operate for Ceasars, an additional five E190s have been sold to USair and will be gone by the end of the year.

Also worth noting are the remaining aircraft on order under the original 190/195 purchase agreement.
