Could you elaborate? Where would it be faster for a new hire at CHQ to hold a line?

Second year pay at Skywest on the -200 is 36.60 / hour. 6% on top of that for the 70, 8% for the 90.. I only fly the 70, made $5300 before taxes last month as a second year f/o. Single no kids.. Granted I had no life credited 124 hours..

2nd year take home on the 145 at Eagle FO, I am making about 4000 before taxes, I am taking home $3000 with per diem at about 92 hours of credit. However I am too expensive so its going to RAH.

Weren't you the same kid that was supposed to start a class with Great Lakes? Reading from your previous posts, you seemed pretty excited about GL. So, I don't think you are too expensive.

I interviewed and looked at lakes, never got excited. Also interviewed many other places, and that tossed lakes in the toilet as even an after thought fairly fast.

With your memory why are you flying planes?

Based on my memory, I don't think you interviewed at "many" other places. And, you didn't "toss" GL. You were pretty clear when said you were hoping for Eagle to hire you or else you would be starting a class at Great Lakes. Consider yourself lucky that Eagle hired you or you would be stuck with GL for 2 years.

Realisticly, a topped out FO grosses @ $40-47K.

Average attrition in the past 6 months has been near 18/mo and is accelerating slightly.

FO's who are willing to take first available are around 200 numbers closer to upgrade than they were 6 months ago.

The 145 is junior on the CA side

The Q and 170 is junior on the FO side

Newhires are moving up quickly and are holding lines in select bases and equipment.

Newhires cannot expect to upgrade quickly. In my oppinion, I would be suprised to see it longer than 4 years.

A topped out FO does not gross 40-47 K. I GROSSED

2012- Extrapolating to 34,XXX
2011- 33,XXX
2010- 39,XXX
2009- 33,XXX
2008- Much less due to LOA
2007- New hire only for about half the year.

I'm year 6 for pay at 36.62, been topped out for 2 years now, no COLA like everyone else. I have a modest deduction for 401K and employee +1 medical care. For 2012, this NETed me low 20s. Decrease between year 4-5 was due to RSV. It should be noted, that at my highest GROSS pay point, I was in the top 3rd of base and getting fairly productive trips by RAH standards. So 15 hour 3 days and 20 hour four days. I have, however, at no time ever, picked up open time or "over time" since we have no incentive and spending 6 days to work a four day, I don't really feel like blowing my 24 hours off to commute some place and do more work for this company.

According to my numbers counting just my movement up from 1 Jan to last available seniority list dated Jul 12, I've moved up an Average of 30.11 spots per month. I think it is a valid assumption to estimate 90% of the movement is above me on the seniority list which would add another 3 pilots leaving below me per month and I don't really track that.

Relative seniority has decreased from 98% to 70% +/- a few points to help anonymity. As it stands now within 6 months of the most junior CA on any equipment. If I upgrade in six months that makes upgrade time just about 5.5 years. Given the known fleet reduction of 190s, 140s, and the added Qs we can expect a nearly flat net aircraft change in the next six months which makes it more unlikely upgrade times will be less than 6 years for FOs on company property for the past 5 years.
No way you grossed that little.

As a 36.62 member since 2010, I grossed $42k in 2010 & 2011. The $48 included $6k from a second job (forgot about that when I mentioned it before).

Still that was $42k gross, and I bid for the most days off possible, never worked extra time or days off, four day trips. So that doesn't take working great lengths to hit, just the co min 82 hour lines each month.

And my point was made by the Eagle, XJT, and Skywest guys. With their soft pay they can credit 120 hours. Best you can do here is 100, maybe 110 if you're Jr RSV and get used every day.

You can feed your family, but it's below average among our peers.

I know you said this in sarcasm, but the truth is that your wages have very little to do with whether or not your company can make money.

For 2011 as a mid level SkyWest FO I credited about 1400 hours. At 41.30/ hr plus over rides, per dium, time and a half, and lots of double time pay that's just shy of $69,000 gross. There's no question that I worked extra hours and made more than average. But what I did was not unheard of.

Your forgetting Commutair and Colgan. I also got calls for interviews at expressjet and skywest after starting class. I think your memory is fuzzy.
