With all of the base closeures ove the past couple months it is hard to tell the junior bases becasue people got displaced all over the place and alot of people are not where they want to be so it will take a couple bids to get that all sorted out.
S5 - CMH and IND. Seems to be where new hires are going possibly LGA but new hires havent been sent there in a while. You will not get ORD or ATL out of training probably a year or more to crack those bases.
CHQ - I have no idea but a guess would be CMH?? To many dispalcements to tell.
YX - CMH, DCA, PIT, GSO. Probably wont get PHL or MCI out of training but might get in within a year. You will never see DEN that base is super senior and the list to get in is LONG.

Right now on CHQ its SDF and CMH, though the bases at the moment have kind of equalized outside of IND and LGA.. IND and/or CLE will probably close next so take that into consideration. Im an 08 hire and I'm not on reserve in my first month in SDF, about 12 below me after the displacement, most of which are 2011 hires.

As of today (3/28/12) the company has backed off their proposed F/O pay raise. They realized that if the pay raise went into effect that the pilots would be released to strike immediately. Therefore disregard the Quicktake update, it should be removed within the next couple of days. But hopefully, as was recently mentioned, a new contract will be in place by the fall. So until then stay where you are and build time and experience until it's official.

About $27,000/year over 8 years ago. Same contract, imagine that. I went for the quick upgrade. I knew I was getting a quick upgrade based on the airplane orders they had. It happened. I quit just over 3 years after I started. I struggled trying to decide which regional to go to as they were all hiring. At the time I narrowed it down to Expressjet and Chautauqua. Chautauqua called first. In the long run, it didn't matter. I would have upgraded in under 2 years at either of them.
