Zooropa made some fine points worth serious consideration. While I maintain this is a fine place to work, if hired on you will be at the bottom of an unstable seniority list. You will have no job security. The mass exodus of 135/145 guys to the 170/175 and 190 with little, if any, back fills indicates the 135/145 operation is withering on the vine and will soon be pruned. I don't think any of the fifty seat jet operators currently flying have a bright long term future.

Yes..definitely a difference. While our guys are acting like professionals, you have the Heavy Airbus guys declining jumpseats if you have on YOUR pilot union lanyard. I've commuted for years and have never seen the immaturity I've seen from F9 guys from any other airline. Love telling these stories while jump seating on United. They are amazed at the way F9 acts.

Of course you are insinuating that every F9 pilot does this. This is where an idiot like you tells UAL and everybody else that our whole group is doing this. You have sour apples in every company and to stereotype our whole group in doing this is immature in itself. Please look at yourself in the mirror and you will see the immature fool(you of course).
Last time I had a RAH jumpseater I took his bag up to the cockpit and welcomed whole heatedly on board lanyard and all.

1.) Most of the CHQ FO's have been here far longer than 2 years and would be free to move upon signing of a TA. I know ill be bidding out the day the ink is dry and there's at least 200 above me that will do the same. This is a sticking point for us and no ta will pass without it. Its a qol issue.

2.) This company doesn't do anything for no good reason. We are losing roughly 30 a month. Some months are bigger and some are smaller. Something is going on.

3.) AA BK is going to present new opportunities for all regionals. While I despise any regional growth it seems inevitable. My humble opinion is AA scope will be somewhere between dl and unical. If AA was going to terminate our contract it would have happened. I would wager our presence will expand if anything. Still too early to tell.

What Beachlver and Oskeewowow said are dead on true. As a 08 hire on CHQ I can attest to it. I originally wanted Shuttle ATL because of QOL commuting issues. You also don't have a choice of the Cert you get. I could give a **** what AC I fly unless they want me to fly a 190 on this pay.

I would like to add...I have a bit of a beef with some of the F9 guys. Walking through MKE more than half them I see won't say hi or even give a head nod. I am not saying all or most of the F9 group is this way. Just the ones I have passed in the hall. I believe that blaming any pilot group for something that their management does is just completely and utterly ignorant. I am sure if I was jumping they would in all likelihood not act like this. I think it shows extremely poor character to act that way to fellow pilots that, BTW, helped keep them in a paycheck.

I also resent that when we were voting for unions FAPA put together a rouse union hoping to get control of the RAH native pilot group. It was obvious with all the propaganda and when ALMOST NONE of the F9 pilots voted for FAPA but rather for the made up union.

We are not your enemies, management is. If they get their way we'd be flying a bus at my ****ty FO pay. Most of us wanted nothing to do with F9 for that very reason. We knew what management would try and do. We just need to unite and get the best we can in the next contract. Its no secret that BB wants to spin it off (with behind the scenes controlling interest) so he can whip saw the **** out of us both. I would like to think we can come together as a pilot group and make this work but the attitudes I have seen doesn't give me hope for that. If BB spins F9 off I hope it is in a way that severs any control from BB and friends or we are all in trouble.

I am based in MKE and I always say hello, chit chat, and act like a gentleman. This isn't a personal issue between the pilots, and it isn't an issue between us and the company. It most definitely is a personal issue between the IBT leadership and the Frontier pilots. The IBT AD is a bunch of hypocritical, self serving, duplicitous, and misleading bunch. Back to this in a moment...

This will cause some thread drift but since you mentioned the IBT's favorite word "whipsaw"...

How in the world can he "whipsaw us both"? I have asked this question literally 100's of times and have yet to receive an answer.

The only threat of a whipsaw is if native RAH pilots attempt lower the pay and QOL of the Frontier flying. Bedford already asked us to put 190 rates in our CBA. They were higher than your 190 rates and we still said NO.

The "rouse" union you refer to, RPC, was established as a last attempt to prevent the imposition of IBT on all Frontier pilots. The IBT claimed a council "never works" and is a "violation of IBT C&B's". Ironically, the same IBT has established a council for the Flight Attendants at RAH due to the fact that they do not have the numbers to win an election over the AFA. The Frontier pilot group voted for the RPC because we believed a council was the only way to represent both groups. The IBT wouldn't listen because they didn't have to listen, they had 2000 votes and we had 700. The IBT only cares about the IBT, and a majority of the Frontier pilots (95+%) will never be members.

Everything the IBT has done with the FA's and AFA is exactly what the Frontier pilots and FAPA attempted to do. The difference is the fact that the IBT couldn't win against the AFA and they couldn't lose against FAPA, oh and that little fact that the AFA didn't have anything the IBT wanted and we have a few things the IBT really wants.

Speaking of never, we will never "unite" and there will never be a "next contract" for all of us. We will separate, you guys can have your wish and we will have ours.
