They can flex on that. The TT is a hard number, for now.

1200 is hard, 200ME and instrument are flexible. They are worried about the ATP 1500 hour requirement in 2013.

I talked with a Shuttle Pilot the other day who is actually doing the interviewing. He said Republic/Shuttle is planning on hiring around 400 pilots in 2012. He said about half of that is for the attrition of people moving on to other airlines and the other half growth of the airline. The growth coming from Republic and Shuttle. He said that US Airways and Delta is giving us some more new flying. He did say they are getting all types of people interviewing from Retired Northwest Captains near 60 to younger CFI's.

As a former Shuttle America Captain I would have to say we have one of the overall best collective groups of people to work with at the Regional level. That goes for Republic, CHQ and S5! There always those 3-5% at every airline that are downers....
