The reason they are teamsters is that ALPA would not take them back when they organized.

There's not much you can do with a company that is losing money. You should have negotiated a contract along time ago when the company was raking in the dough. Instead, you guys sat back and watched Bedford buy two airlines. You watched him replace one of the airline's pilots with your own and claimed there was nothing you could do about it. You then stapled that whole airline's pilots below yours because "they didn't bring a job to the table."

At this point, it doesn't matter who is representing you. The results will be the same. Your union backed you into a corner.

Exactly. After they way the RAH pilot group stepped on Midwest Express pilots, I don't think many folks have much sympathy or goodwill to offer.

Your union is run by your pilots. Did you guys not call off negotiations until after the two airlines were bought? Did you not voluntarily fill all the captain positions in MKE on the Midwest replacement jets? Did the Midwest guys not all get stapled below your captains? Stop playing the victim card as if you guys could not have done anything. Nobody feels sorry for you guys.

You are one interesting person. Negotiations were called off briefly until we figured out exactly what our company would look like. No one wanted another situation like we have now with the 190s. Those pay rates were agreed to before we even had a 70 seat plane, much less a 99 seater. The MKE vacancies were going to filled one way or another. Voluntary or involuntary. We had no LEGAL recourse in that matter. The 190s were going to fly and there was nothing that could have been done to stop it. Saying or implying otherwise is just being dishonest and you know it. Also no, all the midwest guys were not stapled below our captains. The active Midwest guys were blended with our captains in tier II. A few Midwest guys just accepted a recall to a captain position a week ago. RAH guys don't play the victim card, we just defend ourselves when the not so bright, such as yourself, attack us with innacurate info to feed your agenda. As for how the integration went, I don't regret one thing our union asked for and got. There isn't another pilot on the planet that would roll over and give away seniority to two failed airlines. Once F9 is fully seperated and the 190s more than likely go away, we won't be doing any flying that was associated with Midwest. However, their pilots will still have recall rights if they choose to exercise them.

In case you forgot, ALL the Midwest pilots could have done that flying had they so chosen to accept the terms. They rolled the dice and declined. Their scope and contract didn't allow them to strike, which is the only legal way we could refuse the flying without getting fired. I don't know a single person who was excited about doing that flying. But it's outlandish for you to expect anyone to quit their job because YX didn't have better contractual protection.

Bottom line, they could be doing that flying now under our CBA with some of their furloughs recalled, which no doubt would have given them a drastically better outcome in the IMSL. Instead, they chose to all be furloughed, and a few are now trickling back and flying on our CBA, with severely watered down seniority.

I'd be ****ed at the council I received from ALPA.

I'm curious.., I assume you are on the F9 side of the fence. I sometimes ride in the F9 jumpseats and here this from the crews I'm with. Where you getting this information from. To be honest, the conversations I am involved when woriking (190 FO) is 99.999 percent contract. I haven't personally heard nor discussed you guys in months, nor heard anyone else ie: pilots so much as raise the topic of F9 since last October at least.

Again just wondering where you guys are hearing this from.

Once again...you have proven you are clueless. Please, if you have no facts, butt out. You've got a new CEO to think about and how you can take concessions for him! That should keep you busy. Carry on.
