I don't understand why the native RAH guys are ****ed to see F9 separating. They say they don't want my seat. They say they have no desire to work here. So why are they ****ed? I would have thought they would be wishing all the F9 guys fair skies and good riddance.

I'm very disappointed to see this thread devolve into the old IBT v. FAPA nonsense.
Back to the original topic of Republic Hiring. In the latest round of negotiations, the company offered a 2% raise for FOs & no increase for captains. My question for you prospective new hires- Do you feel $23.41/hr is fair compensation for sitting in the right seat of a 99 seat jet? The company apparently does. If they're willing to pay you this way, how do you think they'll treat you when it comes to scheduling, work rules, seniority, benefits, etc.?

Folks..., Just a word of sincere warning, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, BEFORE LEAVING A GOOD JOB TO COME HERE! This company has furlough'd twice in the past three years.
Bedford believes we are "seasonal migrant workers" as reflected in how he staffs this airline...(Hire in the spring, furlough in the fall) PLEASE do your due dilligence before leaving a perfectly good job!
This AIRLINE WILL LIKELY SHRINK BEFORE IT GROWS BEWARE OF FURLOUGHS THIS FALL!!! With the the rumors of base closures occuring on the CHQ side of things, it's just a furmula for furloughs which I myself may be subject too (For the second time!) I know this seems a little dramatic, I'm just trying to draw folks attention to how this airline operates. Nobody wants to begin a new job just to be furlough'd a few months later. Not saying it will happen, but my experience AND BEDFORD"S MANAGEMENT STYLE says it's highly likely! OK the horse is dead.
Best of luck all!

Hence the paucity of candidates in your election (or non-election). When you have only one candidate for each position, how certain are you that you're getting quality representation? Even the amount that our FAPA reps are compensated isn't enough to get a large pool of candidates, in part because it's less than they would make for flying instead.
Which raises the question - why are you paying more than we are for salaries? You'd rather have your dues money go to represent plumbers, electricians, etc. than be paid to your fellow pilots to represent your personal interests?

Let's face the truth, if you guys came up with a better solution than 'staple them.. they are small airplane pilots' then most of us RAH natives were ****ed at the IBT at the time and wouldn't mind voting for FAPA to represent us.
The IMSL is what it is.. There is no point into dragging it longer than you have to be.. It looks to me F9 pilot group has the desire to violate that decision than any other pilot group..
In case you haven't figured it out , it's not about what kind of airplanes you fly, it's about the money you take home.. Pay me $66/hr I will be an FO in PA28 rather than 170 FO at 33/hr.
I jumpseat on F9 a lot.. You guys are great bunch of pilots.. There is no need to tear each other apart online..
Take care

Here is one RAH pilot that wishes you well on the seperation. Take it all with you including Lynx. Put those guys in the right seat of your planes and you'll have no staffing issues.
Then Maybe, just maybe mind you, I could upgrade and get hired by a proper major airline.

Now that I double check things, how can so many major airlines (i.e. Air Tran, jetBlue, Allegiant, etc) be counted among the "worst paid"?
