Hmmmm, I guess you surveyed all 2500+ native pilots to come to that conclusion. You might want to step out of your kool-aid bath before you start making comments like that.

Great Point. How about I say the 25ish native RAH pilots that post on APC? Thanks for the correction.

Back to the original topic of Republic Hiring. In the latest round of negotiations, the company offered a 2% raise for FOs & no increase for captains. My question for you prospective new hires- Do you feel $23.41/hr is fair compensation for sitting in the right seat of a 99 seat jet? The company apparently does. If they're willing to pay you this way, how do you think they'll treat you when it comes to scheduling, work rules, seniority, benefits, etc.?
And to this I'll add the fact that Bedford just two days ago (Friday, 27 Jan 2012) in a letter he specifically addressed to "RAH Pilots" brings up the need to "Restructure the Regional Side of the Company" due to the 50 seat market fading out. If I remember correctly, I believe we have some 78 50 seat aircraft flying for various code shares. At approximately 5 Captains and 5 FO's per aircraft that equals some 780 pilots he's gonna have to figure out what to do with.

Folks..., Just a word of sincere warning, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, BEFORE LEAVING A GOOD JOB TO COME HERE! This company has furlough'd twice in the past three years.

Bedford believes we are "seasonal migrant workers" as reflected in how he staffs this airline...(Hire in the spring, furlough in the fall) PLEASE do your due dilligence before leaving a perfectly good job!

This AIRLINE WILL LIKELY SHRINK BEFORE IT GROWS BEWARE OF FURLOUGHS THIS FALL!!! With the the rumors of base closures occuring on the CHQ side of things, it's just a furmula for furloughs which I myself may be subject too (For the second time!) I know this seems a little dramatic, I'm just trying to draw folks attention to how this airline operates. Nobody wants to begin a new job just to be furlough'd a few months later. Not saying it will happen, but my experience AND BEDFORD"S MANAGEMENT STYLE says it's highly likely! OK the horse is dead.

Best of luck all!

Which raises the question - why are you paying more than we are for salaries? You'd rather have your dues money go to represent plumbers, electricians, etc. than be paid to your fellow pilots to represent your personal interests?
Nobody prevented you F9 guys from running.. Instead of spending money on stupid stuff like RPC , you should have joined the IBT like was mandated by the Federales and put your name in the election ballot. I said this multiple times, sell your ideas to me I don't care who you are, I will vote for you. I don't care if you are from Frontier , IBT, ALPA, or moon..

Let's face the truth, if you guys came up with a better solution than 'staple them.. they are small airplane pilots' then most of us RAH natives were ****ed at the IBT at the time and wouldn't mind voting for FAPA to represent us.

The IMSL is what it is.. There is no point into dragging it longer than you have to be.. It looks to me F9 pilot group has the desire to violate that decision than any other pilot group..

In case you haven't figured it out , it's not about what kind of airplanes you fly, it's about the money you take home.. Pay me $66/hr I will be an FO in PA28 rather than 170 FO at 33/hr.

I jumpseat on F9 a lot.. You guys are great bunch of pilots.. There is no need to tear each other apart online..

Take care

BB & WH will try to separate the two groups, then they will attempt to whip-saw one another... who would win that (F9 pay rates vs. RAH pay rates)? Good luck to all.

I don't know. It's pretty close. Based on pay/seat F9 is one of the worst paid major jobs in the world, RAH is one of the worst paid RJ jobs in the world. The 190 is in muddy waters between the two and regardless of who flies it the pay won't be good.

Here is one RAH pilot that wishes you well on the seperation. Take it all with you including Lynx. Put those guys in the right seat of your planes and you'll have no staffing issues.

Then Maybe, just maybe mind you, I could upgrade and get hired by a proper major airline.

You should be more conservative with your superlatives. What are you going to use for United, USAir, and Virgin after blowing your "worst paid" wad on us?

Now that I double check things, how can so many major airlines (i.e. Air Tran, jetBlue, Allegiant, etc) be counted among the "worst paid"?

It's time for RAH pilots to ditch the truck driver union and opt for a real airline union that gets results.
