Default TSO Headset Required?

Forgot to ask this during the interview, but does Republic require a TSO cert headset? Saw a thread from 2013 saying they did, but checking to see what the current status is. Have a Zulu 3 that I really enjoy, but willing to part with it if I have to. Seems like it prob doesn't matter and that no one is really checking, but rather just start looking into swapping so I don't have to worry about it.

Thanks

There was a rumor a few years ago that eager FAA ASI's were looking. I've never had one ask to look at my headset. AA does require it per the FOM however, your desired airline may also.
YMMV.

If you catch wind of a fed and think you might be in a grey area, just wear the provided David Clarks for that leg and save yourself the hassle.
