I still think use of the English language is likely the problem here.

You make exactly what you make at Mesa. Hour per hour, it's considerably less than you would make at Republic. Period.

If where you live, or want to live, creates a situation where you net more disposable income because of the cost of living out of base at Republic, so be it. Maybe say it that way. It would be a lot less confusing to the reader.

You know CRM type stuff, be a little less vague.

In the vernacular of many of my co-workers, You do You!

Happy New Year!

I make just as much as someone as Republic because I don't have the added expenses. IE if I had Miami as a base at Republic I'd have to have crash pad ect. That extra 4 dollars I would make an hour would go towards that. Live long and prosper.

He just mad I'm over it. I know there rates and I know mine. He/she not getting it. Hourly I make less, yes but if I had went to Republic I would have to commute pay crash pad and all the extra stuff, parking, bus ticket ect. I would have made more money but spent it on those things I would have LOST MONEY money going to Republic. He/she does not get it lol I'm over it already.

A new hire at Republic will likely gross 15K more than a Mesa new hire. As a captain that goes up even more.

If you think all of the ancillary costs add up to that much, you're spending way more than you need to.

You're trying to make this about net pay factoring in the costs of commuting, and drastically over inflating that cost to fit your narrative.

Why not just make the premise of your argument that you get more time at home? That's a perfectly valid justification and one people everywhere in aviation understand.

3rd year pay at Republic is now $95 an hour (you will upgrade by then if you want to). Not sure if Endeavor's pay is accurate on APC now that it is 2020, but Republic's pay scales are updated. If EDV's pay scales are accurate then at year three you are making more then any other 3rd year pilot in the Regional industry at Republic.

Any rumor or insight on if there is a new contract coming soon? Also heard Republic is growing and getting the 30 Compass 175s

Nothing comes easy, and I doubt this will come quick.

We already have some of the planes on property, and more added every month, but yes. I wish we could give them back...I don't know how anyone over 5'9" can ever fly them comfortably.

Some of the Compass 175s are already flying on property so the additional planes are here. It looks like the seniority list actually shrunk by about 20 pilots this year so that should be interesting.

Why’s this? I thought 175 was like a couch

The Compass planes all have HUD assemblies above the seats. If you're tall, you're gonna hit your head a few times. Plus, everything is out of place compared to the rest of the fleet. Not many of us are big fans of those planes.

Now what is the letter of intent Republic signed about the 100 additional E175s? What will they do with those and are we picking up Delta west coast flying with Compass?

Sounds like a lot of potential movement in my mind but I may not see what’s behind the curtains
