Copy - I figured...tough to say. Appreciate the info, anyways. Trying to figure out possible lifestyle before pitching it to my wife!

It's all good! If you live in one of our bases (or are open to moving to one), it's honestly a great quality of life. Even on reserve. You get paid to sit at home and occasionally they call you to go fly.

Rog - I live in KC, which is why I'm looking at Republic. My buddy just got hired as well, which got the thoughts flowing

It's a good base with a solid mix of flying. You really couldn't do better in KC than Republic.

As an FO I only once was awarded a line with less than 15 days off.

How long was it before you could bid/hold a line? as an FO and then CAPT?

I realize this could change, but at least it's a starting point.

November 2017 was my first bid, May 2018 was my first line (DCA, the only line less than 15 days off).

Depends. If you want min day trips you could get them as a junior line holder. If you want 7.5 hour credit per day trips then you won’t get them until you’re top 20% in base and seat. Loaded question.

DCA is the only base within driving distance unless I move out of state...and I see some people talking about splitting their time between bases. Is that normal? Like commuting to a different base to finish your trips for the month?

Do you guys switch brands through trips (i.e start Delta and next day fly UA or AA)?
