Republic Airline Cadet Interview
Hello everybody,
I'm a 21 years old CFI/CFII and I applied for the Republic Cadet Program about one month ago and two days later, I got a call from a recruiter in order to set up an interview date which will be April the 18th.
I was wondering if any of you recently did this interview and/or if you would have any tips or advice.
Thanks for your help
Cyrus

It’s no different than really any other regional airline interview. They start with basic HR type questions “tell me about a time when...”. You’ll go over any volunteer work and/or interesting items on your resume. Then you’ll progress into more technical questions like decoding a METAR or TAF, briefing an approach plate, maybe some basic Jepp chart symbology along with a possible SID/STAR (nothing your average instrument rated pilot wouldn’t know). Finally, they’ll ask if you have any questions for them (answer should always be yes!) and you’re done!
Best of luck, you’ll do great!

My daughter just did the interview. They have you log in and take a 20 question test first (you have 10 mins to complete it). The rest of it is like the previous post states. I'm not completely sold on the benefit of the program itself, so I wouldn't sweat it.
