Deliveries starting Q2 2021 according to BB’s memo yesterday. Who they’ll fly for remains the big question.
He also mentioned 36 170s coming off contract in the next 3 years. I would not be surprised to see at least the first 36 delivered as 175SCs to replace the older 170s on new/extended CPAs.
But I’d also not be surprised to see the delivery date indefinitely pushed back. The initial announcement of this order stated end of 2020, so it’s already been delayed at least once.
He also mentioned 36 170s coming off contract in the next 3 years. I would not be surprised to see at least the first 36 delivered as 175SCs to replace the older 170s on new/extended CPAs.
But I’d also not be surprised to see the delivery date indefinitely pushed back. The initial announcement of this order stated end of 2020, so it’s already been delayed at least once.

Nothing really. A better product I suppose, since the UA 170 interiors are beat. Plus the potential for more premium revenue from the increase in First Class seats. Not sure what else do we’d do with them?
