Republic pays for your CTP ATP and ATP written like others have said. Yes 1099. Big benefit here is they also get you a NICE hotel for entire training for YOURSELF. Alot of other places you CO-DOMICILE or have to pay 3,000 for your own room like Skywest. Also no bonus! Republic also pays you 75 flight hours approx. $3400 per month for training and even when your sitting at home doing nothing for 2 months because of training backlog. Skywest doesn't pay you. Endeavor has training backlog and FOREVER RESERVE. Skywest minimal reserve on crj 200 but long reserve if you want ERJ, READY RESERVE at airport. Republic almost no reserve and NO READY RESERVE just 2 hour call out. There is NO COMPARISON. Republic is winning!

The wingate and super 8 aren’t even that bad
A lot of bad things about this industry: people complain about the smallllllest stuff, yet to think back 10 years ago they were practically sleeping on the streets making 20k a year. No airline is going to be perfect, but republic is a good choice. Just don’t get your panties in a wad every time something doesn’t go your way and suck it up and move to the next stage in your life

There is PLENTY bad about the Super 8, but the name should be enough. You’re probably one of those guys that just likes the free beer. The only reason it’s free is because of how bad the hotel is. You are aware of this, right?

Slow it down bud. “NICE” hotel???? Wait till you actually stay in the luxury Super 8 or Wingate. Then you’ll be changing your mind. Free dinner and beer though is the only plus. The “pay while you go home” is stopping next year. Yes while you may be included, others next year won’t. And it’s not 3400 a month, did you forget about the 1800 first month? (Not including bonus if you have bigger better reasons for the bonus) Reserve timeline depends on time of the year. Currently all bases are seeing a minimum of 2 months reserve. Based on initial schedule before SAP, December junior line holder is out of LGA and an early June hire. So still about 2-3 months reserve. Not being a prick at all, but Piece of advice, you’re not on property yet so you’re posting based on recruiters and if you have any buddies there that may not be telling you it all.
Besides all this with dealing with the 3 regionals I have been treated the nice by Republic. Hopefully stays this way. Their hiring process was the most detailed too. Skywest asked me a few questions and took me asap. You can tell they are hurting for pilots. There's a reason for this!

Clearly 4V14T0R has never taken a dump in a porta-potty while enjoying tropical latitudes and mild case of travelers diarrhea and then getting a smurf kiss at the end. Every day...for weeks. #S8couldprobablybeworse
But I also don't doubt that you guys have seen some shiz at the Supah8 that can't be unseen. Care to share? I bet it's pretty funny.

Only speculating here, no more, no less.
My guess is that since AQP initial along with them hiring for classes so far in the future, they have the backlog figured out. They’re just not sending you to class until they have a spot for you, hence why people who are interviewing now are getting June classes. Again, just my guess.
As far as the hotel situation.... I personally thought the Wingate is perfectly fine, and I honestly didn’t have a large problem with the Ocho. I’ve been at better hotels, yes, but I’ve also been at worse hotels. I also spent time in the military, so take it for what it’s worth. But I’ve seen better (by far), and I’ve seen worse.
