This was the same fear mongering rhetoric spewed just over a short two years ago, yet was proven wrong. We'll see what happens this time. I've got my opinion and you've got yours.(And I'm able to do it without lobbing personal insults) Who knows what the future may bring. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. 🙄

And thanks for the language in LOA #3 being changed to “MAY” and “SHALL”, from “WILL”. Yeah that’s giving incentive to come negotiate. Short sited.

Your fear mongering a short two years ago was if the 2015 CBA wasn’t voted in the company would be forced to file bankruptcy. Wow! That made a difference 🙄

You senior line holders made out Ok huh, not having to deal with the rest of the poor sections of the CBA like us. Too bad we aren't all contactable or without cancellation pay like you wanted in the failed TA that you voted for in 2013. Look on the bright side though, you and Lindsey Graham will forever be known as Mr. 1%. Now get to work on the rest of the CBA or quit the NC

As a Republic Cadet, it's good news for me. However, if I was on property as an FO, i'd be less thrilled. I'm not a huge fan of sign-on bonuses. I'd much prefer to have a higher pay rate, even as an FO. I realize many would-be FOs are starving CFIs that are trying to pay down a huge amount of student loan debt, so I can see the argument for that. Still, it's not fair to those on property to front-load bonuses like that.

I prefer the way Endeavor did their retention bonuses of 20k to *everyone* on property. From the outside, it made it look like they cared equally about all of their pilots.

As someone who's still a year out from their hours target, this market is giving me a headache in deciding where to go. Things are changing so fast, I have no idea what things will look like a year from now.

This guy knows more than Brian McKeon. And he doesn't work here, yet. Holy chit.

Maybe we can start guys out first year at $141 and then each year give ten dollars less in pay. That oughtta help Republic be the best damn regional EVER. I mean FOREVER.
