You're just here wasting people's time. Trolling is super awesome. I hope you're having a lot of fun on your overnight dude.

The voting ends at noon on the 29th. The results should be released within a couple hours after that.

Question. Why does it take a couple of hours to get the results from a vote that is computer-generated?

Elections America is doing it and I’m sure they have some sort of post vote verification process. It’s sort of a bad idea to rush things and announce the wrong results. Just like the Oscars.

I’m sure an upstanding organization like the Toonsters has a vote “verification” process.

You do know that things that have legal implications take more than seconds to release. Didn't know that an hour was such a huge drain on the pilot group. Just like the guy who thinks PBS bid awards should be instantaneous.

He didn't say it was a huge drain. He didn't mention any problem with the time at all. And I hardly think that he's "that guy," just because he asked a legitimate question.

Jeez.

That kind of response makes you into "that guy." And that's okay, sometimes, too. We all get to take a turn.

The NC did announce that the results would be announced "shortly" after the vote concluded at 12. A couple of hours is not "shortly" in my book, but whatever. It was a pertinent question.

Did I say it was a huge drain on the pilot group? Since when did asking a question translate into my saying it should be instantaneous?
