Good to hear you put some thought into it. I personally don’t think it will be a quick turn around. Especially if this rumored merger happens. Last time we merged with someone it put negotiations on hold for 3 years. I’m predicting a narrow pass.

I think it will narrowly pass as well. Like I said I’m hoping for a narrow failure and a quick fix but you’re right, it could go the wrong way. We’ll see.

The pay rates or the contract as a whole?
The FO rates fall short, but the CA rates meet or exceed 9E by 1/1/2020.
The contract as a whole question is a bit more subjective. But it could be easily argued that republics CBA/LOA exceeds 9E, especially by 1/1/2020.

No matter how much the company and the "union" wrestle you, no matter how much they threaten, whine, beg and blame everyone else, If you keep voting NO the only people who will lose their jobs will be the upper-level management. The TEAMSTERS are putting on the pressure because they recognize the end of the regional sector is at hand and a NO vote will only hasten it. At that point they will lose the money they have been stealing from you for the last several decades. You may give up what appears to be a gain in the short-term, but the long-term reward will far exceed any perceived loss.

THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PILOTS TO REPLACE YOU!!!!!!!!!

The airline division was not involved in any negotiations for the LOA. The NC went to the company, and asked to negotiate. I think everything will be made clear in the next few months, regardless whether the vote is yes. Consolidation will come before regionals go bye bye, and I believe thats republics plan. The payrates in the LOA are well below 9E for FOs, kinda like the 2003 CBA. NO!

Overall no! The lifers will exceed 9E payrates, unless delta decides to negotiate higher pay scales for senior captains at 9E. The biggest difference is the FO pay, and Guaranteed interview.

and positive space 2nd attempt commuting, shorter upgrade times, better 401k, and friendlier management. I really see zero reason republic should fall one penny short of endeavor. Ya'll have a few things better than us, such as per diem, but the pay needs to match.

They will not get 2nd attempt commuting, because they are not owned by Delta. Plus multiple code shares to deal with. The upgrade will continue to grow, because the teamsters are trying to make republic a career airline, and the CA pay will exceed current 9E rates. Many of the mid seniority CAs will stay put, so upgrades will slow at republic. Teamsters put out a comparison of the two contracts (9E & Republic), and honestly the pay alone is enough reason to vote no. I’m guessing it still narrowly passes, because of the unknown with any acquisition and merger.

I doubt any of the non WO will get close to Endeavor rates.

Republic has always had a lifer problem that skews these votes in the wrong direction. Just too many senior CA's that are just too happy where they are with no intention of going to mainline. They all say it would negatively impact their QOL too much to start over at the bottom of a new list.
