Besides the activation fees, is domestic non-rev travel totally free for me and my companion/domestic partner or are there segment fees for them?

What standby priority do we get on each? Is AA priority based on check-in time similar to how it works for the WOs?
That used to be the policy, but now we get benefits on everyone as there is no segregation of pilot's. Preiovusly Republic only flew United and American and Shuttle flew United and Delta. So Shuttle people could only get UA and/or DL bennies and Republic people could only get AA and/or UA bennies.

Only AA charges a segment fee for Domestic travel, currently its 1.28/segment, for everyone using the benefits, yourself included. UA have first class fees and I don't think DL has any fees except for the international taxes after 6 international one way itineraries.

Our priority is based off of who is flying the aircraft and what carrier your on. Below is a simple summary of them.

For AA and UA, if it is our own aircraft, you and your passriders will have the highest non-rev priority, even over mainline employees. If it's another Carrier, then you fall within their priority chart.

On Delta it doesn't matter what carrier your flying on, you go behind Delta/endeavor pilot's and then retirees.

We are always above Zed fares and I believe commuting pilot's as well.

However, you can find the actual priority charts online for each of the partners and those will show you exactly how various pilot's fall into the priority chart.

ZED fares for us start after 6 months, not 90 days.

I stand corrected ZED is after 6 months. All else appears to be 30 days.

It will be a while before I can take advantage, until then I'm along for the ride!

Enjoy your ride as well.

Sorry I guess what I was trying to ask about with the segment fees was imputed income. I saw it in the benefits guide and found it a little confusing. If a girlfriend/boyfriend/companion or parents fly using my benefits, do I/they get charged for "imputed income"? What does it usually come out to?

I don't have any of those on my benefits and my Brother and His GF have not used their's yet, so I can't say. But the Imputed income is based off of a certain percentage of what a normal rate ticket would cost.

So say if those ticket cause a $500 imputed income to your W2. My understanding is, you would be taxed your normal tax bracket rate on that $500.

I've only used the benefits for domestic flights. Imputed income for my significant other has never been more than a couple bucks from what I remember taken out of the paycheck automatically. Parents and a second friend on United benefits will pay segment fees of, I believe, $36 per segment they list for (refundable if they don't get on). I've looked at flights on Delta for my parents to list and it was kind of outrageous (around $140 each if I remember correctly) to list. Because of that I've never sent my parents on Delta. I haven't looked at getting my parents on American, but listing yourself and a significant other is a $1 and some change listing fee. The biggest challenge is that our priority is awful so you need to find flights with lots of open seats and have a backup for the backup and then probably another backup.

We get benefits on all. I’ve never flown the delta side (EWR base is only UA, and I flew some AA from LGA last year) but still have the benefits.

s.
Are you sure this is correct? Are you saying if it is an AA flight Being done with an republic aircraft that a republic employee would have a higher non rev priority then an AA employee?

I think you might want to recheck that.

On our own metal with AA, this is correct. Republic non-rev are cleared before any other non-rev, including AA mainline (i.e. we board even before AA D1 priority).
Having said that, getting an AA hate agent to understand and do this can be a challenge.

For United, only mainline using a vacation pass (SA0V) will be cleared before Republic (SA0X) non-rev on their own metal.

For Delta, on our own metal we are at the same priority (S3) as mainline. Boarding is then resolved by date of hire.

There is no non-rev priority above D1. I think you are confusing non-rev with jumpseat. What you are saying is correct for the jumpseat.

Nope, no confusion. Correct, there is no priority above D1, but according to AA published policy, non-revs on own metal are cleared before D1. This is a manual process and not all gate agents are aware of it.

If you have AA benefits then you can find this document on the "wings" website. I have attached the relevant page for you. See the note at the bottom about AAC priority on own metal.
