How is that possible? Have you been dealing with scheduling snafus, or having to do extra EFPT or sim sessions?

Seven months seems excessive based on what I've been hearing pretty consistently with the most recent classes.

He is most likely at a different Regional. Republic has one of the quickest training pipelines out there.

Back when they consolidated into one fleet type, the training was running 4-5 months from start to finish. Best paid summer vacation of my life. We’ll see if they can keep it streamlined with home study and AQP initial, but they have some pretty big hiring plans. If it starts getting drawn out, enjoy your paid time off, but stay in the books to keep everything fresh

Well, the guy was posting in a Republic forum so I naturally assumed he was at Republic. No surprise if he's at PDT or PSA. In fact, I had briefly considered interviewing at both those companies as they have local bases but once I heard about Republic's training timeline of ~3-4 months including OE, as well as a variety of other positive attributes, I was sold.

With upgrades happening so quick now, every month counts. Back when it was 4 plus months to upgrade, those breaks had little impact on ones overall career.

I’m at PDT, for now. Sorry for the confusion; I’ve been reading around here for info for a possible jump.

Oops, should say 4 plus years not months.

It will definitely be interesting to see how everything plays out. However I still don’t see upgrade dropping to minimum time or people coming in with prior 121 experience jumping the seniority list. A lot of that depends on how quickly the 100 planes hit the line, how many of those end up replacing planes already on property, and if the hiring of our captains picks up any. Pretty positive outlook though, and a good time to get in, even if training gets backed up a bit.

Someone mind posting the latest and greatest DOH/ Line Holder info?

Have a CJO but no class date yet (waiting on a call back) and just trying to play the domicile/ commute guessing game for flights near me while I’m sitting HRV with my current 121. Thanks
