Sure thing! Honestly, I thought RA already had AQP, but guess I was misinformed.

Well my class date is July 24th. So what will be the difference then with scenario as opposed to the current training?

First off, I’ll see you in class! Know which CTP location you’re at?

And scenario based meaning usually the checkride is a little more realistic to a real world problem. You won’t shoot a single engine approach to minimums in the worst weather imaginable then go missed. It’ll be a little more realistic and allow you to show off your CRM. You’ll still do the single engine approach practice in training, but just not in the checkride more than likely.

We do have AQP for recurrent, just not for initial new hires until now.

We don't have access to that information. It could very well be that several current FOs have a standing bid in for MIA, meaning a new hire will still have to wait a while before going there. But this is the first time in a while that MIA even showed up on the vacancy sheet.

If you’re on property you do have access to that information. Just have to go into the “denied bid awards” in flica. I’m not about to scroll through all that to find the denied FO Miami bids but if it’s important to you you can find it.
