That is then a EWR trip that becomes a LGA trip. DHs on both ends to get you to and from. If I understood correctly, the poster was asking about co-basing. If you are LGA based you are not responsible for EWR or JFK flying unless the pairing starts and ends in LGA. We do not currently have any co-bases but do have language for the union and company to come to an agreement on a case by case basis for them.

April 17 Class:

IND 6
CMH 9
LGA 11

Keep in mind this is what was awarded in the first couple weeks of training. If they prefer another base they could very well get it by the time they get off of IOE.

Yes, there are people who got ORD later in training as recently as this month (meaning they were awarded ORD in their initial base swap bid. The actual swap for the awarded base doesn't take place for another 4 months, but they will swap you early if you request it and a spot opens up early). You are just not going to get it in your initial bid your first week on property. The only base that looks untouchable at the moment is Miami.

Thank you. Is ORD really shrinking?

It has shrunk because American gave all the 170 traffic to Envoy so there is no American flying out of ORD anymore. Delta also took away one of their shuttles that we used to run. We still do some United flying out of there. It seems to be holding steady now with rumors that it will pick up a little bit for the summer months. The real test will come next winter when flying draws down from the busy season.
