Default CAE ATP-CTP Course

Hi everyone! I have general questions about the ATP-CTP course at CAE in Dallas. I've been to a couple courses kind of like this on the civilian side, but not many. Most of professional schooling are from the military, the type that you have a packing list for your ruck and are told exactly what to bring and how to act. So I'm kind of worried about just the general rules for attending this course because I have none to tell me what to do. So I'm extremely curious as to just any general information pertaining to the course. Things like dress code, grooming standards, what to bring, what to prepare for, etc. I know this is an extremely boot question to ask but you know how it is, better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

dress - business casual - almost all airline related stuff will be no lower than business casual. Put those nike airs and Levi's away...
Other than that - CTP is just a fun course, no real testing to speak of, just go have fun and don't drink too much every night...

I'd imagine business casual and clean shaven. Don't be rude and pay attention. Show up with a smile on your face and ready to learn.

Uniform of the day is business casual. Show up on time, stay awake/drink free coffee. You'll be provided a swag bag with notepad, pens, etc. Chow hall is good (usually a main dish and sides special for not too much). Remember that you won't learn anything for the ATP written, so buy Sheppard Air and use it (you'll see guys cramming it during class). Finally, don't forget to order some of the free CAE bag tags while you're there.

Most wear business casual-lite. Dress pants or khakis on day one was common, and by the end most were in jeans and polos.

You don't need to bring anything. I brought paper and pen, but they even provided that.

Relax, and have fun! Feel free to PM with any other questions

Thanks! Those were EXACTLY what I was looking for. Only last question. I'm driving over there so what is the parking situation like? Or do I need to take the shuttle from the hotel?

Just take the shuttle to save gas. Car is convenient and I can't imagine parking being an issue
