A week after I completed my profile and targeted another company they called.

As stated above, it's a super back-up to your logbook.
Were you sending them all out or can the airlines "troll" through them and randomly contact people?

AirlineApps allows you to target airlines that use their service and you can select only the one(s) that you wish to see your info. If you do not target an airline, they cannot see your info.

It depends entirely on the airline's needs and your qualifications relative to the other applicants. I haven't heard a word back from DAL yet...

A few years ago when I had just returned to the US I did the one-time shot deal with them. I had partially filled in the app and never submitted it and then out of the blue I got a call from Trans States for an interview. I interviewed and was offered a job but did not take the job. I was offered a job at AWAC and took it instead.

I am now a member at Airlineapps and find it a bit funny. My experience is very odd with almost no PIC time but lots of other quality time and so I am overqualified for some jobs but others won't even consider me. So I am in a kind of limbo there.

I have targeted a bunch of companies, including Delta and Continental and have never heard a word from either. Nothing. Except for the one which everyone got a couple weeks ago from Delta. So I am hoping that Delta can see the App.

It is targeted to about 10 different companies on there and I assume they can all see what I have filled in.

FWIW, I have gotten my logbooks and their calculator to get much closer together, but still struggle to get them exact. I hope that will never be a problem.

I expect a bidding war for my services by Continental and Delta to begin shortly!

Hey Saab,

I like your optimism. I don't have all of their requirements yet, but I too am hoping for either company. In the bidding war do you have a preference between DL and CO?

Dundem,

Nice avatar!! WTF??

Tough choice between CO and DL. To be honest, my heart's desire is not at the top with either one. Both would have their good and not-so-good points.

I am not expecting either one since I have NO internal contacts at either company. Well, maybe one or two minor ones at CO.

I am sort of hoping for something else I have gotten going recently. That one is not on airlineapps.com, but it also something of a long shot.

I am also hoping for United when they start hiring.

ok my question on airline apps is that I don't have my driving record. Should I go ahead and fill it out or wait till I get my record? I don't want to get an interview then be kicked out because I have a speeding ticket I didn't tell them about. I might have two speeding tickets. I'm not sure. One from when I was a junior in college(3yrs ago) and one in september. The later might have been dismissed.
