There's an active group from the old guard, who lost power, and it is just them trying to sell anything to get a pay raise. Even if it means more pilots will have to fly crappy jobs at the regionals for less pay.
More and more regional pilots are getting off probation everyday at Delta and a majority of them do not support any more large RJs.
The last vote failed 65%-35% with 25 large RJs. This would be even more.

Right, most people would read that to mean there are no supporters. That is how I read what you wrote. I just wanted it to be clear there are multiple people supporting it. Go read some of the other threads also if you don't believe it but there are multiple people in support of more 76 seaters at DCI.

Out of the billions they're making you think none of it came from RJs? Lol.
That said, yes they would have a higher CASM but that doesn't mean they won't do it, just that if they can try to get a lower one first, obviously it's good business to at least give it a try and see if you saps fall for it.

They don't understand that the 50 seaters are going away simply due to market forces of being unable to staff them. Instead, mainline is going to snooker them into trading the 125 50 seaters for 50 large RJ's.
But once again, I'd expect mainline DL to sell anything they can for a few more bucks...

2. It simply makes no financial sense to bring the RJ flying in house.
2. Greed. No pilot would turn down money to "save" jobs below them.

Really? Even if it is the first two seats new-hires occupy are pilots going to turn down a job with Delta, United or American? Would they prefer to stay at the regionals with all that implies? I think not on both counts.
But CS100/300s do? Can you give us the business case for your assertion.
Your second #2 point unfortunately has historically been the case.
Don't sell scope for $, again! Hold the line!
