No passenger at AVP and hpn ... San Fran went into LGA. CRW gets a delta Airbus overnight. American and United do just rjs and dashes .

Heck, delta does a 717 into CHO.

I don't think he was being arrogant I think the airlines do have what they consider Tier one candidates. I'm assuming the 4.0 military guy with a masters in engineering and flew tankers would be their one.

It's not arrogant, most company's have 3 stacks of résumés. They're called tier 1,2,3. My old company would pull the top 3 resumes from each tier and interview those 9 peoples.
Deciding who or how applications are ordered and tiered may be arrogant, but acknowledging that it occurs isn't. For right or wrong that is precisely what HR does.
