Not sure how new you are, but that was the goal, to stop the back stabbing. Stop the whipsaw took off, and eagle got every single regional carrier together at a ffd meeting to set a bottom of the industry floor for pay etc. We voted no to a B scale offer for the 900s and republic and express jet voted down sub par offers. Guess who no showed the ffd meeting at the last minute. Good old psa. The same psa who took a sub par offer a few years earlier to get all the jets and not have to share them with Piedmont. If you are willing to participate in that pile of crap yes your a scumbag. You can try and blame management all you want, but us pilots are our own worst enemy.

Not sure how true that is. Im on target to make almost $80,000 as an FO at envoy. I average 14-16 days off a month and fly three day trips.

Look in the mirror and you'll see a backstabber. You were created to undercut mainline wages. Mainline pilots jobs were outsourced to you because you are cheap and don't care that that flying is outsourced from a mainline guy. But hey, you got yours. You show up and voluntarily move metal for C scale wages. pots meet kettles. It's all a matter of perspective.

IF the critical pay was paid like it is supposed to be paid, it would be pretty easy for a first year pilot at PSA to make $60,000. And easily over $80,000 by year 4.
If, that is, critical pay was paid correctly. It is not. But, that is not the fault of the contract, nor the pilots that voted for it.
The contract has the most aggressive language for critical pay. AAG figured out once the contract was in place that they could not pay PSA pilots what they were due, because they were the highest paid regional pilots in the country. So, they just started manipulating the system so they would not have to pay it.
We should hear the award from the arbitrator soon. They are meeting again later this month, and has been ongoing for almost 2 years.

That's s true statement, but most are not a profession either. The A&Ps are getting hammered by management just as bad as pilots, so mainline would be a step up.
I don't consider regional FAs a profession, but they could always get in line as well.

That FA does the same thing in the back of a CRJ as they would in an Airbus. Arguably harder going solo. You do the same thing in an RJ that you would do in an Airbus. Somewhere there is an FA with your attitude saying "I don't consider regional pilots a profession"
