Default Do American's WOs have Stockholm Syndrome?

I only ask because I constantly see PDT, Envoy and PSA criticize American for their lack support, keeping wages low, farming out the best flying and restricting/readjusting the flow. But on the flip side I constantly see each of them doing everything they can to be the favorite child. As if trying outcompete each other would change American views and sway their compassion to somehow better their contracts.
I'm honestly confuse how they say they get treated so badly but are dong everything they can to earn American recognition as if it would earn them better flying and a better contract.

It's the regionals! Everyone has the syndrome. Regionals are Regionals are Regionals. No one better then the other and if they are today they might not be tomorrow.

Oh for sure! But lots of us don't have much of another shot at a major. So they have us by the ball and we like to complain about it.

Short answer: yes.

Although it's mostly management trying to suck up to AAG for their own job security.
