BTW - account deletion usually doesn't remove your posts. Just the account. Similar to being perma banned.

Nah, I'm not falling for this scam again. Last time I stupidly deleted an account just because someone had took much to drink, the pervert came back with 4 or 5 new ones! Talk about a waste of valuable volunteer time.
If you don't want to participate any longer, just don't log in; the system will deactivate your account after some period of time. However, if you are addicted and simply can't help yourself, bang a large hammer on your dominant hand whenever you feel the itch to log in. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll sharpen up my surgery skills (I was in medical research long before I became a lawyer).
