Consolidation of experience
#11
FDX reporting in. We don't care if you've flown the type at a previous airline with respect to the 100 hours in 150 day requirement (it's really 150 days, not 120. A line check is all that's needed to extend the 120 days +30 making it 150 in all practicality.)
But anyway we don't care. We are hiring lots of guys with previous 757 time and putting them in the 757 here, and they still need the 100 in 150.
I'm guessing it's up to the indidual airline tho.

Most airlines don't care, they make you consolidate regardless of previous experience. It's much easier to deal with this way from a records perspective if you just make everyone get 100hours in 120 days. The qualifications section of the training program would be where this answer would live, and possibly copied from there and restated in the FOM. Not operations specifications.
120 days can become 150 days if you continue to meet all the requirements of sub part O and complete refresher training. This is not always a line check. It is Airline and CMO/FSDO specific. Could be line check, could be PC, its again whatever is spelled out in the Training manual and approved by the administrator.
