One more time:

I'm not talking about "will you come be an FO for us?" postcards. Just about everyone is sending them these days. Heck, I got a SkyWest postcard not long ago and I've worked there for almost 2 years.

GoJet in this case is hunting for direct-entry CA's. Don't they have enough FOs on property to upgrade and fill those seats??

It's not the same? Both PDT and CA are advertising their rock bottom upgrade time. They are even telling people that if they have the time, they'll upgrade out of training. How is that different?

Mmm, good point. Maybe I've become so inured to the flood of postcards, etc. that the direct-entry captain call surprised me.

Nothing to see here, move on folks

And now in typical Mesa fashion, you've got a no-show on your permanent employment record! <S>
