DP isn't a moron. You don't get where he is by being moronic. He has a plan. No one at our level has any real clue what it is. There won't be a staple to any seniority lists. And things aren't likely to improve much if at all at the WOs until all 3 are bleeding pilots and until the disruption of our feed severely affects the AAG profits. I'm updating my resume and logbook, everyone else should be too. I'm not looking to make any lateral moves, but a DEC position later this year or an LCC do look more and more appealing.
Keeping labor cheap and miserable works great for returning a quarterly profit. Right up to the point where it doesn't, at that point it takes nearly twice as much money to rebuild be trust and work ethic you destroyed by abusing your work force. The only conceivable benefit to that method is a planned retirement of the guy making the decision. I.e. Dougie walks out with millions and leaves a dookie on AAGs doorstep
