According to the latest seniority list at Compass, we have 795 pilots including 4/07 class date. 105 hired this year, 444 since 1/1/2015. I can't honestly say I fully trust it considering the recent administrative and IT fiascos. Let's say the numbers are in the ballpark...

It's ok, us millennials will just take their places when they all retire in the next 2~ years.

Did they save the lives of 155 people like he did? The co. didn't hire him to be Mr. Popular-with-younger-people. That's what circus clowns are for.

I do know, it was determined he and the FO, did something wrong. Enough so that I know Sully was flying around with LCAs the last year or so of his career. Believe the FO was asked to resign.

Regardless it was remarkable what they all did. It's kinda silly; at the end of the day, in the heat of the moment, they saved everyone on board, yet get flak after. Guess that's the world we live in.

He also shut down an engine that was producing power, but that's just bad publicity...

It's also back-seat driving after the fact, even if true, especially considering that...

.....the National Transportation Safety Board investigators and outside aviation-safety experts unanimously agree that Mr. Sullenberger made the right call to put his crippled jet down in the river. Neither he nor his first officer, Jeffrey Skiles, had any assurance that the Airbus A320—which suddenly turned into a 70-ton glider—would be able to clear Manhattan’s skyline had they tried to return to the Queens airport they left minutes before.

But thanks for playing.

Interesting to see, why Envoy attracted 35 new pilots and Endeavor only 19... Could it be the flow ? Really?

Was Envoys 35 for a single class or for the whole month?
We had 19 in this class, 17 two weeks earlier by the sound of it, and over 20 at the very end of March.
