Don't some airlines have some sort of program where they have one or two dispatchers overseeing a group of non-certified dispatchers? The real dispatchers just sign off on the $10 /hour non-dispatchers' work.

i think our dispatchers are closer to 30000 per year. i used to teach a dispatcher at a college. pm me if youre interested in details but typically dispatchers start around 30000. at delta i think they start around 50-60. you can also go to the railroads. they love hiring hiring people with an faa dispatcher cert. sometimes right out of school. ive heard they start around 60000 , but also heard many dont like that job. traing for 6-12 week course is around 5-6 grand. less if you have atp written already

No. Compass operates a completely separate SOC from their headquarters in MSP.
