I'm feeling AAG will take over the leases, but those aircraft are not going to Envoy.

No. AAG gets first dibs to take over the lease. Then they can distribute the aircraft to whomever they want, even back to RAH. All aircraft at Envoy are owned by AAG, just operated by Envoy per contract. And the only aircraft that are contractually obligated to Envoy is 40 175 hulls and 90 options for new ones. NEW ONES.

No disrespect but as a former RJET guy i do not think the 170s will be touched and if so the relief sought in the restructuring is needed mostly on the Delta side. My $.02 the reverend wants a single certificate with a common fleet type and now he will get what he wants. All the best wishes to my friends at RAH.

AAG already said they want Envoy as an Embraer operator. I guess PSA CRJ, PDT E-145 and Envoy E-175.
Who else operates E-jets? I hope they stay in RAH, would not like to happen what happened here. People are drooling already, not even 48hrs since the announcement!!!!!!!!!
Give them some time to see what will happen!!!!

I can imagine pilots are Republic freaking out right now. I felt the same way when I found out Pinnacle file for Chap 11. Keep in mind, Pinnacle went from having to furlough 800+ to not being able to staff the airline properly at one point. This is also during the time when the big 3 wasn't hiring like they are now. I remember a junior FO at Pinnacle leaving for Republic 2 weeks after Pinnacle file for BK. It's definitely going to be a long process.

So, where there will be going? PDT? Compass? Mesa? Skywest?

Guys, this is not hard to figure out. There's a bunch of airplanes sitting around republic is paying for but not operating. Those airplanes are gone. Anything that is not an ERJ is gone. Delta is gone. Contracts with majors are going to have to pay a little more to the Republic, if the major is not on board, the contract will be voided. It only makes sense for republic to fly the largest airplanes possible with its limited pilot supply.
Current pilots are in no danger of anything right now. But this is not going to stop whats coming, no contract airline is immune from what's coming. There is simply not enough pilots to fill the retirement void at the majors in five years.
Five years from now, if republic does not become the competition, they are gone. Republic and Skywest will fall before the wholly owned carriers whos parent airline can just dump money into at will, nothing more than a cost center.

Any FO at republic with, say, less than two years seniority should just simply move on to another carrier. And for once it's not easier said than done. Just go.
I believe after a significant reduction of unwanted assets, republic will again be the source of pilots and other assets to an underbidding buyer the likes of Skywest holdings or AAG for their Envoy folks. Far fetched? I hope so.
