Take back what you said ? Hmm.......

Well, do you recall what Judge Lane did with AMR's first 1113 request against AA pilots ?
Fair enough. The ONE time it's ever happened. (Assuming the article I found was accurate).

Historically, if Airline B acquires Airline A, are the airline A pilots now under Airline B's contract regardless of if it's better or worse?

Make decisions that of course, work for you. Just don't jump the gun. The company might come out of this stronger, you just need to ride the inevitable waves that are coming. I jumped the gun and got out. I still question myself if that was the right or wrong decision...
Part of the reason there were no furloughs is because hundreds of pilots quit.

and many of them that did leave are line holding Captains elsewhere, instead of stuck on reserve for the past 4 years at Eagle. You are talking about VERY senior people if they are close to flow. 15 years plus.

Everyone junior that stayed at Eagle after filing has gotten screwed royally since the bankruptcy. Our Junior pilots got furloughed in 2012 during bankruptcy! Very few came back. The rest of the junior pilots since Bankruptcy was filed at the end of 2011 are still near the bottom of the list, and have spent most if not all of the last 4 years on reserve as broke junior FO's with 11 days off a month.

Nothing good comes from being a junior pilot at an airline in bankruptcy. Ask anyone at a regional that has been through it.

Sorry to hear that - a hard pill to swallow. Given all that has been written recently about Republic and all of the growth seen at other regionals offering flow-through agreements to the legacies, why did you choose Republic in the first place? I would go elsewhere now.

Another question: who picks up the Bombardier CS300 orders and options for cheap?????

One thing is certain - Republic will park a large number of airplanes, which will require significantly fewer pilots.

Republic has LOAs from all mainline partners already. Not 1 170 will be parked. The 145s will be gone, but everyone already knew that. This filing was to remove all 145s from the books and eliminate the massive cost associated with them. Keep an eye on the press releases as this moves along. It's all about the 145s. There will be no furloughs or even the threat of a furlough.
