Default Cheap Hotel in DTW

Any suggestions on an inexpensive place to stay in DTW near the airport?

Thanks in advance.

The Clarion and the Comfort Inn are the usual suspects.

Americas Best Value Inn has crew rates less than $40 and it's mostly crew members there. Plenty of places to get cheap food and drinks around and friendly shuttle drivers.

Clarion is 46.75 out the door. That comes transportation, hot breakfast and 5pm checkout. Howard Johnson has less cleanliness and more weed smokers below your floor (3rd floor) but is only 37.99 out the door.

7ERB means you fly either 757-200 or 767-300 and are an FO.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm kind of stuck there for the next two months. Which of these suggestions has the best food nearby?
