at republic you will make 1700-1800/month on first year pay. several places have similar 1st year pay within a dollar or two(compass, eagle, mesa, gojet, awac, tsh). i dont work there but the only place that you will see a big difference is endeavor because of the retention bonus. places like skywest, awac, and xjt all have at least a decent pay bump 2nd year

Year one at PSA (and this figure is including per diem) you can make anywhere from about 29K to maybe 40K if you want to be in DAY a month at a time helping with ground school stuff. Or you could make a lot more than that if you upgrade to CA your first year which many are doing.

Year two I would expect to clear 35K as an FO, and up to maybe 45K if you are in DAY doing the ground school stuff. And again, more if you upgrade to CA.

Reality,
Take guarantee x hourly=gross take home. Per Diem is for living on while on the road, and if you are sitting on reserve at home, no diem. My first year at SKYW was 14K Jan thru Dec. Add 10% for soft time, training, deadheads ect.

Just looked at my w2s...

Year 1 28k
Year 2 34k

(Went from senior lineholder to bottom reservist in a different base at almost exactly the one year mark)

Never got a signing bonus. These kids these days don't know how good they got it!

1000 X hourly is the standard rule of thumb. Min guarantee is around 900 at most airlines and you are easily going to exceed that at most regionals. 9E with bonus pay will earn you about $250K over your 1st 5 years as an FO.

Year 1 at Skywest was 29k. Year 2 will be 48ish, both including per diem. Year 1 would be closer to 35k now with the new pay rate.
