SKW interview sim session
Anyone who did the SKW interview remember what kind of performance model their F142 had? I know it might sound like a weird question, but maybe some of you might know if the performance was of a dutchess, seneca, C310, 414, ect.
I have access to a F142 sim and wanted to use the same type of performance model as the one used. I saw there also a "standard 142G" model in the performance database.
Anyone who did the sim interview or interview prep have any info on this?
Or, if you did their sim ride in the F142, can you at least remember if the engines were normally aspirated or turbocharged?
Thanks for any info!

A Navajo is what profile they use for the plane. I did mine yesterday and had the 810. I justed used the Seneca on a PCATD to practice and it did fine for me. People got all kind of random approaches from all over so you never know what you will get.

Practice on a baron sim/ftd or bigger. The 810 (which is what I used) had quite a bit of power behind it. Vertically stable, not quite as stable laterally. You will constantly find yourself to the right of course despite the instructor telling you that there is no wind. Single pointer altimeter, but they'll help you with that.

Thanks for the info guys.
I understand it was a navajo. The 142 we have at our school doesn't have navajo performance, but I guess C404 or C414 would be the closest thing.
Thanks again for your feedback!

Climb out = Full power, clean and 130kts
Cruise = 30' and give you 160 kts
Decent = Use 25'
Approach = 22'-24' flaps @ approach, gear down @ 120kts
You don't have to do anything with props, panel switches, or com radios. After that just fly the plane - looking for instrument scan and not perfection. Everyone in my group messed up a little on something, and we all stayed through the rest of the day! If you make a mistake call it out and fix the problem.
