It is because Envoy finally got their whipsaw cherry broken and they are all emotional about it, they had it pretty good for a while but unfortunately they now have to deal with the open market.
All the former Comair guys here (who actually went on strike) just laugh when some relatively inexperienced Envoy guy calls PSA pilots scabs.

PSAJOBS is awfully quiet. Nothing further to add about the payroll issues, recent upgrade pass rate and decade long SSP wait?
What about 7 hours for "real time" SAP trades to process?
Also if you are excited to come here and get off of reserve quickly think again. Due to the growth we have check airmen constantly doing IOE. If you get a trip that pairs you up with a check airman guess what happens? You get displaced. Which allows the company to assign long call reserve or more than likely assign some inefficient scraps to you. You will be used as a reserve pilot. If you are removed from your 20 hour 4 day and end up flying 8 hours, will this slow your progress as far as getting 1000 hours 121 for the upgrade?
This is a constant complaint I hear from the new hires.

Yes you are. You will be pay protected and in theory any assignment they give you is SUPPOSED to remain within the original start and end time. Within that foot print you will essentially be used as a reserve pilot. Hopefully you like deadheading and constant schedule modifications. I bring this up so pilots can understand it may not be so easy to get 90 hours of flight time per month.

So then you know that the implication that envoy has never been a part of a whipsaw before is inaccurate.

But prior to that 16 year contract the whipsaw game was alive and well at AA with all the various Eagles. Yes, we were a collection of various wholly owned companies who flew under the "American Eagle" brand prior to 1997, just like today. Except back then there were many more than 3. All the Eagles back then were whipsawed against one another with extreme prejudice. Things got ugly...and I don't mean "acting like children on the internet" ugly. I'm talking about actual fights in crew rooms between pilot groups and more.
Then in 1997 we were all merged as American Eagle and lived under a 16 year contract. That contract provided stability in what is a very unstable industry. Most importantly it protected us from the worse era in aviation history: 9/11 and the fallout of the next decade.

First, I agree that the 16 year contract insulated American Eagle (Envoy) from the Regional market for too much for too long. Too many of our pilots as a result became disconnected to the realities around them which in turn led to the absolute nonsense we saw in 2014 when 70% of Envoy pilots rejected a perfectly good contract under the premise of "Nobody else can staff". PSA didn't make Envoy vote NO to that contract and in so far as that goes Envoy has nobody to blame but themselves.
