That's not even close to being true but thanks for being a jerk
But I see you are a Delta guy so what else should I expect.

[QUOTE=80ktsClamp;1861150]Sounds like you were doing a little more than just sharing what you were told.
Your opinion and you are entitled to it. Can you also ask him why he didn't pursue a career at Delta to begin with? It would help put this thread back on topic.

I agree that Spirit is a good place to go now and should have been included in the pool. Good bases, ok contract and a very quick upgrade. The poll is interesting in how FedEx and UPS has lost their appeal despite the good pay.

Mostly because legacy pay has caught back up to UPS/Fedex if not exceeded it. They were the hot carriers for the lost decade. Not so much today. UPS in particular couldn't close on the TNT, lost postal contract to Fedex, and runs the place like a trucking company. No new planes on order and the last two classes were sent packing home after they gave their 2-week notice to previous employers. And the bottom 100 guys are furlough fodder for management negotiating tactics against the IPA. FedEx appears to be much better but with a FDA and limited retirements who knows how long one would be stuck with just all night schedules. These two used to be tier 1 carriers. Now that's not the case with the three legacy airlines paying what they are and the amounts of movement/retirements coming up. FedEx is smart though because they realize that and have dropped the TPIC requirement as a result.

Once the 74's go away, DTW will turn into RJ paradise. Already, Delta approached Wayne county about bulldozing half the terminal. It just makes way more business sense to move DTW's assets to SEA, and keep MSP & SLC intact.

The fact of the matter is, there needs to be a link to Asia that is geographically more desirable than ATL or NYC. DTW is it.
