I guess skywest won't be getting these =( . I had my hopes up too high I guess, but I guess Mesaba proves that you can still win when you take concessions for growth.

Expect Compass to hire roughly 300 or more in the same time. (We could ultimately be one and the same, but who knows.)

At Mesaba your pay will look like this for the CRJ900

Year Capt FO
1 57.21 22.81
2 58.94 27.35
3 60.71 30.03
4 62.52 32.71
5 64.39 33.69
6 66.33 34.68
7 68.32 35.73
8 70.37 36.80
9 72.48 36.80
10 74.66 36.80

Keep in mind too that we have all of these "kickers" in the TA that will boost those numbers some depending on aircraft on property and true ups based on average seniority etc. etc.

And just think. Now that Colgan is in the "family" we could see our Saabs get taken away and given to them to operate at lower cost! If you dare join the Red Tail family, be prepared for a rollercoaster ride and HAVE A PLAN B.
man i hope you guys do have some kickers planned, those are almost the pay rates for our 50 seaters.

wow slaphappy, you are so far off base its not even funny,, its actually kinda scarry man. You think they get all of this because of concessions? or is it because over the last year they have gone from 100 planes to 49 saabs? Then their company filed for bankruptcy and was going to force wages on them, so instead of doing that they decided to meet half way. so man,, worry about your own concessions instead of worrying about pilots who had already been beat into the ground.

What concessions? We just voted in a 6% payraise

they are still the highest paid emb-120 pilots in the world. Plus the FAA has restricted that airplane to only hold 25 people on a good day. The profit margin has gotten worse on that airplane.

Obviously SLAP you have now clue! On a great day we can fill all 30 seats, we average about 27-28 and on a very bad day we carry 24-25. The most profitable route in the company is still a Bro route out of SLC and our fuel burn is EXTREMELY minimal (less than 1000 lbs per hour).

6%? Idiot! Only the 700's and 900's, the 200 are only a 1% raise and that makes up the majority of out fleet.

Actually it's worse than that! It's a raise of .23 from 19.02 to 19.25 and it's only for 1st year pay for both Jet and Bro. That means absolutely NO raise for Bro pilots. No QOL or COLA, NOTHING!
