So did RAH and the union definitely reduce negotiations to once a month or is it just proposed that that is what the company wants to do as of now. Most of the folks ive spoken too seem quite optimistic that a new contract will be in place to vote on by the end of first quarter to mid summer the latest. I was told a mediator(s) will make the final call as too how many meetings will take place per month. With the announcement of Shuttle getting the 50 175s, is it possible new contract will be out for vote prior to the first plane coming on property?

Management rejected the NC's FO pay raise LOA, is trying and will most likely park the 145's early to staff 170's(which will perpetuate our 7 year+ upgrade), has basically withdrew from negotiations and according to our NC has begun making it difficult for pilots to go to other companies with respect to PRIA requests. The United birds coming to Shuttle has no bearing on anything other than possibly providing new bases for our guys that live out west.

What does pria has anything to do with going to other companies?
I thought the 175 was replacing the q400. So wouldnt they displace the Q pilots to the 175?

This week:
1. Cancel 145 upgrade class
2. Reduce bilateral negotiation meetings
3. Announce replacement planes (not growth) to different certificate = hoses 100s of pilots
4. Announce worse flight benefits than last year
5. Culture change checklist - Complete.
Standby for next week's episode of BB Cares.
Avoid this place like the plague. Eight years of negotiations should tell you how much BB gives a **** about pilots at his company. The same goes for the new guy they brought in to talk us all into dropping our pitchforks.

The company is simply dragging it's feet concerning PRIA requests. Per the law, they have 30 days to respond to a PRIA request. They're just waiting 29 days or so. I have no idea if it's causing any issues for folks in class at better jobs. I'd imagine that some companies may hold off on extending a job offer until the PRIA stuff is in hand.
